We're in Michigan!!!!!!

hey all!
we are now in the totally awesome city of Lansing and having the times of our lives. the drive up here was really, really, really long. At least we didin't kill ourselves. we've been having a whole bunch of fun here, but we've all been going to bed at like 12:30! we were able to meet our Polish buddy team the first night that we were here. they're all really cool and loads of fun to be around with. all the guys on the team are like freakin' huge! they can touch the ceiling without even going on their toes! yesterday we had our long-term competition, and it went really good. we got good scores on our performance and a really good score on our Rube Goldberg machine. after we were done with everything we got to go out to the movie theater with our buddy team to see Pirates of the Caribbean. it was nice to know that they could understand everything and had seen all the ohter movies. but that was really fun. we ended up getting back to our dorms pretty late and Ellie and i couldn't get to sleep right away because there were these really stupid old guys right in front of the building and they wree talking really loud!!! they were sooooooo annoying. we finally just yellled at them and told them to SHUT UP!!!!! they finally stopped.
today is the last day that we're here, but it'll probably be the most fun 'cause there'll be an International Festival. not looking forward to the drive back.
